This 9-night, 10-day retreat in the heart of Bosnia is designed for couples seeking a harmonious blend of romance, personal growth, spiritual rejuvenation, and cultural exploration. For the first time-ever, Signs of the Divine is partnering with Halal Travel Guide – an experienced travel agency whose primary goal is to connect Muslims with their Islamic heritage.
The Mullas have trained hundreds of couples on how to strengthen their marriage through a love and mercy-based model that fuses researched-based marital best practices with spiritual understandings of how marriage is supposed to work. The MMRR is an immersive experience where each couple is actively engaged in:
- brief instructional lectures
- couples’ and group exercises with an emphasis on attaining practical conflict resolution skills
- role plays
- debriefs
- questionnaires
Throughout the marital programming, husband and wife are seated together so as to maintain discretion and privacy.
Hotel Monti
Accommodations for all 9 nights will be at the Monti Hotel (elevation 4,167 feet), a 4-star hotel located on the majestic slopes of Igman Mountain. The breathtaking mountain setting on the outskirts of Sarajevo, known affectionately as the Jerusalem of Europe, is a perfect backdrop for the important work that you will be doing to strengthen your marriage. Just steps away from the hotel, you can spend your mornings or evenings walking forested hiking trails with sweeping panoramic views. This centralized location is a perfect launch spot from where we will explore Bosnia.

Beyond the classroom, you’ll explore the rich Islamic heritage of Bosnia Herzegovina, the poignant history of Srebrenica, and the iconic landmarks of Mostar and Pocitelj. Retreat Schedule
We will pick you up at Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) during the designated airport transfer window and take you to Hotel Monti in Sarajevo. This will be your home for the first night, where you’ll begin exploring Bosnia’s stunning beauty while rejuvenating your marriage and nurturing your spiritual growth.
