This is going to be our most adventurous Muslim Marriage Rejuvenation Retreat ever! This is a dream destination for us - pristine, tropical islands inhabited by...Muslims! In fact, 99% of the population is Muslim. I mean, where else can you go where the following items are banned?!
We are excited to partner with Rooh travels, specialists in travel to SE Asia, to make this the ultimate vacation and marriage rejuvenation event for you and your spouse! And most importantly, we will have 14 hours of instructional time to help you put ihsaan back into your marriage. This retreat will be from June 24th through July 1st!
Maldives Local Island Experience
Coconut palm fringed islands, sparkling white beaches, tranquil lagoons, turquoise blue waters studded with coloured corals and an abundance of marine life all combine to form breathtaking beauty that is the Maldives and sets the backdrop to your adventure.
The best way to experience this natural beauty and to gain an insight into the history, culture and religion of Maldivian life is to travel to a local island. This provides the opportunity to combine local island life and culture with a little relaxation.

Retreat Schedule
Arrival & transfers to Malé hotel
Upon arrival at Malé International Airport, you will be greeted at the airport by a representative who’ll assist with your transfers. Following your Malé hotel check-in, you’ll be met by your private guide who’ll take you on a historical journey of Malé to gain an understanding of the Maldives before and after discovering Islam.
Visit the country’s first mosque, Hukuru Miskiiy, and the biggest mosque, Grand Friday Mosque. Learn about the high-quality education system, visit local food markets, and take part in everyday traditions. The tour finishes at the top of one of the city’s tallest buildings, providing a great backdrop to your final tour photo image!
This evening, you’re in for a treat, as you’ll get to savour the delicious Dhivehi cuisine of the Maldives during your Welcome Dinner.

Villimalé walking eco-tour & transfers to Dhigurah
This morning your guide will take you on a short journey to Villimalé, a nearby island for a four-hour Villimalé tour to get a taste of island life, meet and chat with locals, explore conservation projects, and sample local delicacies.
Your speedboat transfer to the beautiful island of Dhigurah will take under 2 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll be assisted with your swift check-in at The Pearl Sea View.

Marriage Session 3 &
(Half Day Sandbank & Snorkeling)
This morning your guide will take you out to the sea to visit a remote sandbank in the middle of the ocean, followed by an adventurous snorkelling trip to discover Maldives’ exotic marine life. As the evening cools down, explore Dhigurah, stop and chat with children playing in the street and watch the ladies of the community begin their evening meal preparations.

Today the morning is yours to enjoy as you please. Relax by the ocean listening to the gentle lap of the waves on the shore. This evening before the sun sets we head out in search of dolphins which can often be seen jumping and spinning as the sun sinks on the horizon.

Late afternoon head out to learn more about the tradition of fishing in the Maldives and discover why it was the island that led the way for environmental practices. Not only does Dhigurah have some beautiful beaches, the local community here are particularly friendly and will be delighted to engage in conversation with you and show off their home island. Your catch will be BBQ’d for your dinner.

Transfers to Malé & departure
Following an early breakfast join the public speedboat for the return journey to Malé.
